Ashes 2019: Steve Smith can adapt to anything very quickly, says Australia captain Tim Paine

Playing his first Test after the Sandpaper Gate fiasco in Cape Town in 2018, former Australia skipper Steve Smith stunned all when he hit a century in the first innings of the opening Ashes Test against England in Birmingham. What made it all the more impressive was how he single-handedly put Australia in a position of strength. He followed that up with another century in the second innings as the Aussies took a 1-0 lead in the coveted series.
